Our original home in Verbier

For 18 years we've been the childcare team that Verbier families come back to. Small, family-run, entirely local, and if you've been coming here a while, chances are we've met.

AboutVerbier

Our base

Why Verbier just works for families.

The thing about Verbier, it’s a proper mountain village, not just a ski resort. Big enough to have your own space but easy to access everywhere. Families come to Verbier because they’ve always come to Verbier, or because they want to ski, eat and apres-ski in a world-class resort, with their kids in tow.

Most of the restaurants, ski schools and amenities are within walking distance of the main chalet areas, however the chalets further up the mountain have the most incredible views! The Médran lift is right in the centre of things, and the bus service runs every 5 minutes around town so morning drop-offs don’t need to involve a car. There’s plenty for when the weather turns, indoor multi sports centre, cinema and cosy places to eat and drink.. And there’s genuinely enough for older kids and teenagers to do without you having to plan every minute.

Winter’s the headline, of course. The ski schools here are excellent –  great multi national instructors, small group sizes, and a real understanding of how to teach small children in a way they all just love. But summer is a bit of a secret. Biking, mountain lakes to swim in, trotinette trails, high hikes with picnic stops. It’s quieter, slower, and honestly some of our favourite bookings of the year.

Whether it’s your first time here or your fifteenth, we can help you plan the practical side around whatever you’ve got in mind.

Where you’ll find us.

Our office is on Route des Creux 14,  a two-minute walk from Place Central. That’s where we run the After-Ski Kids Club, where you can pick up rental equipment, and where you’re always welcome to pop in for a chat and a coffee during office hours.

Sarina, our owner, moved to Verbier in 2008 and never left. She raised her three children here. She’s watched nannies join our team as students and grow into senior members of the team. She knows which chalets have tricky access for pushchairs (there are a few), which restaurants actually welcome babies, and which mountain restaurants do the best cheese fondue and lunch that the kids will love.

All of that quiet local knowledge sits behind every booking. When we match you with a nanny, we’re not just finding someone who’s available, we’re finding someone who knows the walk from your chalet to Médran, has picked kids up from Ski School enough times to do it in her sleep, and knows to pack an extra layer for the Mont Fort viewpoint.

Practical bits

Winter:

The winter season runs from December to April. The holiday weeks are Christmas, February half-term (British and international), and Easter. We recommend you book at least two months ahead if you’re coming for those weeks – they go fast. The After-Ski Kids Club runs Monday to Friday during every holiday week.

Summer:

Summer’s from June to early September. It’s quieter, greener, and genuinely lovely. All our nanny services are available, and we’re often asked to organise mountain hikes, swimming, and other adventures, both for the older kids who want to be busy and the toddlers who won’t walk the whole way to Lac de Vaux.
